01. use proper grammer. i don't expect perfect grammar, but i would like you to try to come close to perfect. this is a literate site, after all. meaning, no chatspeak in the middle of your posts. make sure your posts have proper grammar, and please! spell check! a few errors are okay, but i don't like a lot. thank you~ and please don't text talk. i hate it when u talk lyk dis. it's not that hard to change "u" into "you". okay?
02. pg-13, kids. it's one of proboards rules. if your characters are gonna have sex or something , fade to black. please. it's disgusting to see you role-play it out. same goes for fights and violence. i mean, a little gore is okay. just... try not to go overboard with it. i don't want a description of a bloody arm that someone else's character had chopped off. and i don't want members feeling like throwing up. xD
03. no god-modding. no perfect characters -- everybody has flaws, and i think they make the character more unique. don't kill a character without permission. in a fight, both characters will be injured. it's impossible for one character to leave the fight without a scratch. unless of course, it was either healed with magic powers, an administrator has made it, or the character had an advantage (like being older and more experienced, or being bigger).
* administrators sometimes will pop up into posts and change things up a little, just to keep it interesting. c;
04. This is a literate role-playing forum. The post count is two hundred or more words, no less. Don't ask me to lower it. You should be able to reach it and get a lot more. If you need any help with role-playing or have trouble, feel free to PM me about it. I can either help you with your role-playing skills or help you find some muse. c: Music is always helpful, too. c;
05. Don't be a bitch and complain about things. Please. It's annoying. If a member is troubling you, you have no right to post in ooc boards complaining about them. Let's put it simple. Just PM a staff member to take care of the problem for you, okay?
06. I don't care whether you swear or not. Just try not to go overboard with it. Swears are fine, really. c:
07. Please use a time stamp in your threads. You can be in two event threads, if your none of your threads are ahead of that time with the time stamp....
